As could be expected, Satan started an untrue rumor that has become a belief among many people. Since most people don't study the Bible to learn the truth themselves, they are under the impression that Heaven will be boring and something similar to attending church every day. Some will even go to extremes in believing that we'll float around with wings and halo's, and be sitting on clouds playing harps throughout eternity! But if you really think about that rumor, don't you find it too illigocial to even fathom?

I mean, think about it. Do you believe for one moment that it would be in God's character to take the children he dearly loves and treat them in this manner? I mean, a God that can create such beauty that you find when looking at a snow-capped mountain, a clear running stream or even the birth of a child would certainly be a little more creative than having us attend church 24 hours a day and floating from cloud to cloud with halos on our heads! In fact — God is so creative that we cannot conceive it in our present state of mind what riches and glory await us in heaven.

So why do people keep this rumor active from generation to generation?  Remember — Satan wants to keep you OUT of Heaven and he (or one of his demons) will whisper in your ear and tell you that Heaven is boring. This way, you won't really want to go there. In fact, he will even have you believe that Hell is going to be a big party (or that it doesn't even exist.) Satan also claims that all your friends will be there drinking and laughing throughout eternity — experiencing total freedom without any rules or regulations! Can't you see how this way of thinking reeks of Satan?  Tell me where there is any Bible scripture that states these facts are true concerning hell.  And if anyone should quote this nonsence, ask them to back it up with Bible scripture.  They will never be able to do it.

Always remember that anything that sways you to believe that doing wrong and being selfish is "right" is certainly from Satan. You can count on it!

But let's go to the Bible and see what God has to say.

1 Corinthians 2:9-10 tells us that no one could even begin to grasp the beautiful and wonderful life we will have when we go to live with God — our Creator.
Relate this thought to a little child. If a baby is born into a wealthy family, it is not aware of the riches and benefits it will have during its' mortal life. All the baby has are three needs — food, sleep and love. A newborn infant could never grasp the understanding of what his or her future holds in store for them. They have never experienced the pain of poverty or rejection from society. They don't know the importance of a college education and how they will be able to attend any one of their choice. There is simply no way to relate the magnificent future ahead for this child simply because his or her parent's are wealthy and will be able to provide them with almost every material need in life.

So it is the same with us. God cannot even begin to explain to us the benefits of living with Him throughout eternity. Not only could our minds not understand it, but we could not even understand the benefits of Heaven. Therefore, we just have to trust that God knows what He's talking about.

However, He does give us some idea of what living with Him will be like to give us a chance to avoid Hell. He gives us information that we can identify with to some degree, such as no sickness, no sorrow, no problems and no death. We'll also be restored to our spiritual bodies that will never die. How long has mankind been searching for the fountain of youth here on Earth? How many people get nose jobs, skin tucks, dye their hair and date younger people just to try and hold on to youth a little longer? How many people even lie about their age to fool others?

However, eternal youth cannot be purchased at a Hollywood salon. It can only be obtained through a relationship with our Creator and love for Him. Yes — you'll be restored to your spiritual body. Each one of us has one. The flesh body is a temporary house for it at the present time. But just like a locust sheds its skin, we'll get out of these physical bodies that die, one day soon.

Okay, so what else will there be to do in Heaven? We will experience such peace and serenity that we will never grow tired of it. This is hard to imagine in the state of sinful mind that we are all in now.

Since mankinds' nature is to compete and strive to be better than he or she is right now; without problems and situations beyond our control, life would be pretty hum-drum. While we all want peace and quiet, a human being will go insane if they are left alone for too long of a time. (It's been scientifically proven.) But due to the fact that our bodies will be changed and our thoughts and intelligence elevated to communicate one-on-one with  God — this peace and total serenity will be our life blood of existence. Peace and serenity will be a way of life, the "norm" and the expected. Anything less will not be thrilling to us any more.

And one of the greatest benefits of Heaven will be meeting and talking to God face-to-face. Adam walked and talked with God in this manner. Can you imagine that? God will explain how he created the universe as well as helping us understand the mysteries of life we have wondered so long about. His wisdom is so great that we will spend eternity learning from God and worshiping him because of his greatness. Our minds will grow to intelligent levels far above Albert Einstein. In fact, Albert's mind will be mere foolishness to us as it is to God.

Most people though have one question: "Will we remember the past and loved ones?" Of course we will know each other — but we won't recall any pain or suffering experienced on Earth.

Does a baby remember being a baby? And if he or she does, do they really care? Do you care today that your Mom didn't buy you that blueberry bubble gum back in 19--? The blueberry bubble gum meant everything to you right at that moment, but when you look at it now; you probably don't even remember the incident happening. That is how our past life here on Earth will appear to us in Heaven.
